Q: Are webtoon and novel different? Should I read the novel?
A: The webtoon and the novel are indeed different. Although they have a common general plot (Athanasia's relationship with Claude, same general arcs) and the character's roles are about the same (Athanasia is the protagonist, Lucas is the love interest, etc.), in the second season the webtoon adaptation introduced new subplots and new characters/gave more or less relevance to existing characters. Some say that the novel is more focused on romance, and that the webtoon is more family-oriented. Even then, the novel is 100% worth reading! You may find different things to like in each version.Q: I want to purchase the korean version of the webtoon but I don't know how to.
A: Although there are multiple platforms in which you can read WMMAP, the easiest one to use for overseas fans is Ridibooks, as Kakaopage and Naver ask you to have a korean phone number. As long as you have a credit card, you should be able to use Ridibooks (read our guide here). We recommend using Google Chrome's MTL feature to navigate the site.Q: I can't read korean, is there a way to read the novel in english?
A: As of 2024, the novel has begun its official publication in English! Available on Tapas (see "Read" page).Q: I found the webtoon/novel online in another language/in another site. How come you didn't link them here?
A: We are aware that there are multiple unofficial translations of both webtoon and novel, but we kindly ask people to support the artist and writer by using the official platforms.Q: I want to buy the physical webtoon/novel in another site that's not listed here.
A: We have listed the official sites or the ones that are safest to use, but there are multiple reseller sites. You can easily find listings on Ebay, Yahoo!, Etsy and similar sites, but usually the prices will be very high or the seller might not be trustworthy. If you want to use a site different from Harumio (that ships internationally, and to some countries for free), you'll probably have to hire a proxy service.Q: Is the donghua's plot the same as the novel's or the manhwa's?
A: The donghua is a little bit different from both novel and manhwa, taking elements from both sources, but nothing is drastically different. However, the plot most closely resembles the manhwa's.Have more questions? Something spoiler-y that I couldn't write here?
